Mr. Aldean Rowell, age 86, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his sister's residence. Mr. Rowell was born November 22, 1931 in Coffee County to the late Reason Rowell and the late Agnes Chaney Rowell. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korea War, retired Electrical Contractor and of the Church of God Faith. He is preceded in death by his wife Annie Rowell, son, Vernon Rowell, daughter-in-law, Angela Rowell, sisters, Betty Ruth Rowell and Roselle Brunner and brother, A.J. Rowell. Survivors include two sons, Darrell Rowell (Marsha) of Mount Vernon and Bobby Rowell (Sandra) of Harker Heights TX; sisters, Evelyn Miller of Bainbridge, Lula Bell Burris of Lake City FL, Vernell Rowell of Hazlehurst, Jewell Hett of Tampa FL, Jeanette Martin of Tampa FL; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation to begin at 2:00pm and funeral services to follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Wayne Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Family may be contacted at the residence of his sister, Vernell Rowell, 57 Mark Hall Drive, Hazlehurst.
