Mrs. Alouise Thigpen Walker, age 84, of Lumber City, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Walker was born June 01, 1931 in Wheeler County to the late Frank Thigpen and the late Leila Coleman Thigpen. She was a retired bookkeeper with Lumber City Egg and a member of the Lumber City Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Walker. Survivors include Daughter, Ramona Leo of Chelsea AL; Sons, Stan (Debbie) Brewer of Lumber City and Steven Hurwitz of Arlington; Brother, Russell Thigpen of Hazlehurst; Six Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren also survived. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Hancock and Mr. James Pope officiating.
