Mr. Andrew Hugh McMahon, age 92, of Hazlehurst died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at his residence. Mr. McMahon was born September 23, 1922 to the late Minnie Baxley in Fulton County. He was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from Georgia State Prison as Supervisor at the Steam Plant and a member and deacon of Northgate Baptist Church. Survivors include his Wife, Jessie Pearl McMahon of Hazlehurst; Two Sons, Andrew Hugh McMahon of Baxley and Raymond McMahon of Zephyrhills, FL; Six Daughters, Sandra Jean Smith of Fairburn, Geneva Anthony of Hazlehurst, Barbara Pilkinton of Ludowici, Teresa Creech of Hazlehurst, Sherry Rentz of Hazlehurst, and Krickett Kersey of Hazlehurst; Eleven Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild also survived. Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Jinker Horton and Rev. Joe Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Baxley Graveyard Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence 2 Sunset Blvd. Hazlehurst, Ga.
