Obituary

We are both honored and humbled by the privilege to serve our friends and neighbors as they place their confidence in us at a most difficult time in life. As the world responds to the spreading of COVID-19, we, too, must take cautionary steps in order to continue serving our community well. Out of concern for those we serve, Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home will be taking precautions as we collectively face this current state of emergency. In compliance with the recent recommendations from the federal and Georgia state government and the CDC, until further notice, we will be offering the following services and exercising the following safeguards:

Graveside services will be provided for immediate family only, as gatherings of more than ten people are discouraged at this time.
There will be no public viewings, in-house memorial services, or church services.
If you would like to hold a public memorial service for your loved one at a later date, such services will be provided once this state of emergency is lifted.

This community deserves the utmost level of professionalism in funeral services as well as a funeral home that exercises attentiveness to the communal needs. These safeguards are set in place in order for Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home to continue providing such services and to demonstrate that attentiveness.

Sincerely,

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home
