Mr. Anthon "Buddy" Hutto, age 72, of Denton, died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Advent Hospital in Orlando FL.

Mr. Hutto was born October 28, 1947 in Coffee County to the late Rev. Talmadge Hutto and the late Lois Bryant Hutto. He was a Deacon and member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, former Manager with Piggly Wiggly, and a Salesman with Sarah Lee. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Teresa Hester and Yvonne Whitfield.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Smith Hutto of Denton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Steven Wilcox of Denton and DeAnna and Garrett Miles of Hazlehurst; two sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Becky Hutto of Denton and Rev. Dustin and Morgan Hutto of Hazlehurst; two sisters, Dianne Troup (Jimmy) of Douglas and Wanda Medders (David) of Douglas; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Weisel officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hutto will lie in state one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund.
