Anthony Ray Dykes, age 64, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Dykes was born February 06, 1952 in Jeff Davis County. He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and is preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Deen Johnson Dykes and brother, James Tracy Dykes. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Joyce Carter Dykes of Hazlehurst; Daughters, Chertara Brittany (Jordan) Setchell of Warner Robins and Cheryl Brandelle (Jamie) Mikel of Ellabelle; Son, Anthony Craig Dykes of Pace FL.; Father, James Edwin Dykes; Sister, Kimberly Dykes (Robert) Carter of Hazlehurst, Grandchildren, Kelsey Brianne Carter, Tommy James Mikel, Jr., Trace Hampton Dykes; Great-Grandchild, Andrew Gonzalez and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. John Nunes officiating.
