Mr. Anthony Wayne (Mountain Man) Gravitt, age 61, of Hazlehurst, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Gravitt was born on January 13, 1963, in Gainesville, Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Wayne Gravitt and his mother and father-in-law, Loys Peacock Jr. and Betty Jane Peacock.
He was Mr. Personality, an avid Georgia Football Fan, he never met a stranger, and always had a smile for everyone. He loved his family and always enjoyed their company. His wife Denise works at Triple H, so he and his fur baby Molly always kept each other company, and He SO MUCH enjoyed that.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Denise Gravitt of Hazlehurst; nephews, Joshua (Alex) Peacock, Colby Peacock (Brydjette); nieces, Lilly (Kason) Herrington, Loy (Kenneth) Corbitt and Sarah Spires; brother-in-Law, W.L. (Mary) Peacock and Robbie (Angela) Peacock; aunt, Helen Crummey; his fur baby, Molly; great-nephews, Damieyen, Riddick, Lane and Mason; and great-nieces, Elaina, Brooklyn, Kaylee and Heidi.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 9:00am and the funeral service will follow at 10:00am with Rev. Bobby Lairsey and Mr. Tim Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery.
All past and present Triple H Specialty employees will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Josh Peacock, W.L. Peacock, Robbie Peacock, Colby Peacock, Shane McCullar, and Stevie Sali will serve as active pallbearers.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
