Ms. Arlene Griffin, age 79, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday January 19, 2020, at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Ms. Griffin was born May 14, 1940 in Bacon County to the late William Arlie Griffin and the late Helen Lois Dixon Griffin. She was a homemaker and attended Philadelphia Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Daniel Griffin, Sam Griffin, Jimmy Griffin, Billy Griffin, Varon Griffin, Steve Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin, and Lois Easter Griffin.

Survivors include her sister, Emily Toler of Hazlehurst; brothers, Edward Griffin of Bainbridge, Cecil Griffin of Hazlehurst and Randall Griffin of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in the Chapel of Wainright–Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Allen Griffin and Rev. John Nunes officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
