Mr. Arnold Polk, age 78, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, November 2, 2014 at Lumber City Nursing & Rehab under the care of Veteran's Care Hospice. Mr. Polk was born January 19, 1935 in Alachua County to the late John David Polk and the late Alice Arrington Polk. He was retired from Threlkeld Ford. Survivors include two Daughters and Son-In-Law, Angie & Pete Samples of Hazlehurst and Donna Turner of Texas; Son, David Polk of Texas; Sister, Effie White of Augusta; 4 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great grandchild. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Elder Ander Henderson and Elder Ernest Berryhill officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Polk will lie in state 1 hour prior to service.
