Mr. Arthur Carter, age 82, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald. Mr. Carter was born November 23, 1932 in Coffee County to the late Charlie Carter and the late Caroline Walker Carter. He was a retired from Ero Manufacturing as a Sewing Machine Mechanic and a member of the Eureka Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Sandra Faye Carter of Hazlehurst; Daughter, Felicia Carter of Hazlehurst; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Keith and Lori Carter of Elizabethtown, KY; Sister, Mary Taylor of Buenavista, GA; Brother, Otis Carter of Hazlehurst; Four Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. David Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
