Mr. Ashley Scott Brewer, age 37, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, October 05, 2015. Mr. Brewer was born May 07, 1978 in Telfair County and presided most of his life in Lumber City. He was a Graduate of Jeff Davis High School Class of 1996, Truck Driver, loving daddy and husband and member of Lumber City Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Early and Ethel Brewer and Roland and Cassie Haynes. Survivors include his Wife of 14 years, Laura Kirkland Brewer of Hazlehurst; Daughter, Addison Olivia Brewer of Hazlehurst; Son, Sawyer Scott Brewer of Hazlehurst; Parents, Jimmy and Carolyn Brewer of Lumber City; Sister, Nan and Jerome Roberts of Tifton; Brothers, Randy and Renee Brewer of Lumber City, Bruce and Angie Brewer of Douglas, Jerry and DeAnn Nester of Alamo and Mike and Sherry Nester of Richmond Hill; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Thomas and Gwen Kirkland of Hazlehurst; Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law, Jill and Allen Griffin of Perry; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 07, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 08, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Lumber City Baptist Church with Rev. John Daughtry and Rev. Barry Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Brewer Cemetery. Mr. Brewer will lie in state one hour prior to services. In Lieu of flowers family requests contributions to be made to a fund at the Altamaha Bank for his children, Addison and Sawyer Brewer.
