Barbara Ann
Hulett
Jul 23, 1956 — Jun 7, 2026
Ms. Barbara Ann Cobb Hulett, age 69, of Lumber City, passed away Sunday, June 07, 2026, at her residence.
Ms. Hulett was born on July 23,1956, in Savannah to the late Clayton Cobb and Ernestine Douglas. She was formerly employed by the Dollar Store of Lumber City and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Known to many as "Cookie," she never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with just about anyone. She especially enjoyed the many conversations she shared with her son while he was on the road driving his truck. She loved reading romance novels, spending time fishing, and watching her favorite crime and legal shows, especially CSI. Her warm personality, friendly spirit, and ability to make everyone feel like a friend left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Allen Hulett; and her sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Leo Talent.
Survivors include her son and daughter -in- law, Daniel and Marlana Smith of Lumber City; sisters, Carmen Babina (Joe) of Texas, Linda Whitehead (Tommy) of Cartersville, special friend, Darice Herndon of Lumber City; five grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Evan Smith, Jackson Smith, Tyler Dukes and Bryan Dukes; two great-grandchildren, Braylin Smith and Jacie Belle Dukes; several nieces and nephews also survive.
No services will be held at this time.
