Bennie J. Boutwell, age 58, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, September 08, 2014 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mr. Boutwell was born December 10, 1955 in Coffee County to the late James Clarence Boutwell and the late Ruth Beall Boutwell. He was employed with the State of Georgia as a Juvenile Probation Officer and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. Survivors include a Sister and Brother-In-Law, Shirrell and Larry Stone of West Green, Two Nieces, Joy and Russell Hulett of West Green and Grace and Marty Stone of Denton. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00am at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Mr. Boutwell will lie in state one hour prior to service.
