Bessie Jean Grantham Foskey, age 83, of Lumber City, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. Mrs. Foskey was born August 19, 1931 in Pittsburg, PA to the late Floyd Hicks and the late Alice Timms Hicks but resided in Lumber City. She was a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, Homemaker and member of Lumber City Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John Lee Grantham. Survivors include her Daughter and Son-in-law, Linda and Tony Edwards of Hazlehurst; Sons and Daughters-in-Law, Larry and Alice Grantham of Lumber City, Bobby Grantham and Kathy Sweatmon of Lumber City and James and Teresa Grantham of Hazlehurst; Seven Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 01, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Story officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
