Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Betty "Peanut" Batten, age 55, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Allen Rea officiating.

Mrs. Batten was born November 4, 1964 in Hazlehurst, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late C.W. Rea and Betty Jackson Rea. She was retired as a respiratory therapist from Jeff Davis Hospital. Mrs. Batten passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at her residence

She was immensely proud of her family and leaves nothing behind but loving and cherished memories.

She is survived by her son, Corri (Angela) Batten of Marietta, her daughter, Sierra (P.J.) Batten of Valdosta, a brother, Buddy (Myra) Rea of Denton, sister, Sherry (Gary) Preciado of Irving, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
