Betty Jo Warnock Davis, age 81, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, May 05, 2017 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia. Mrs. Davis was born February 08, 1936 in Jeff Davis County to the late Archie Warnock and the late Thelma Walls Warnock. She was retired from Bell South and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Davis and sisters, Velma Nabors and Bobbie Creamer. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Janice Davis of Baxley and Greg Davis of Hazlehurst; grandsons, Warren Davis, Nicklous Davis, Nathan Davis, Chris Taylor and Nichole Hutto; sister, Carolyn Warnock Carter; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 08, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Justin McLellan and Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Betty Jo Warnock Davis, age 81, of Hazlehurst.
