Betty Marie Bush Harper, age 76, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, August 15, 2014 at Lumber City Nursing & Rehab. Mrs. Harper was born February 13, 1938 in Coffee County to the late Paul Bush and the late Annalee Calhoun Bush. She was retired from Piggly Wiggly and was a member of the Hazlehurst Church of God. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Johnny Harper, Daughter, Jackie Harper Jacobs and Son, Fred Harper. Survivors include two sons, Tony Harper of Hazlehurst and Curtis Harper of Kingsland; Ten Grandchildren, Five Great- Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Brad Harper and Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements for Betty Marie Bush Harper, age 76, of Hazlehurst.
