Mrs. Betty Jo Harris, age 75, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, June 08, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Harris was born April 11, 1941 in Glynn County to the late Jacob Sheldon Easterling and the late Lizzie Nell Geiger Easterling. She was a retired Manager with Family Dollar and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include Four Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Kathy Luke (Jack) Smith of Hazlehurst, Carolyn Luke (Richard) Lowther of Surrency, Lora Luke (Chris) Hines of Mississippi and Amelia Joy(James) Pope of Vidalia; Two Sons and Daughters-in-Law, Mark Daniel (Bonnie) Luke of South Carolina and Charles Jacob (Joy) Luke of Texas; Sister, Barbara Ann Courson of Blackshear; Three Brothers, Jacob Sheldon Easterling, Jr. of Florida, John W. Easterling of West Virginia and Harry F. Easterling of Brunswick; Fourteen Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Brother Ray Hester officiating. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery in Uvalda. Mrs. Harris will lie in state one hour prior to service.
