Bishop Samuel Wright Creamer, age 79, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Lumber City Nursing Home.

Bishop Creamer was born March 30, 1941 in Jeff Davis County to the late George Washington Creamer and the late Mary Winnie Bryant Creamer. He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills with over 29 years of service and retired Pastor from Lotts Creek Church of God (23 Years), Ponderosa Community Church in Lyons (3 Years), and Calvary Temple Church of God in Cuthbert (17 months). He was a member of Grace Community Church and was preceded in death by his siblings, Myrtice Tucker, Edna Moody, Junior Creamer, Cecil Creamer and Willis Creamer.

Survivors include his wife of fifty three years, Linda Thompson Creamer of Hazlehurst; children, Samuel Dwyatt Creamer (Michile) of Lizella, Sheila Diane Creamer Carter (Danny) of Hazlehurst and Russell Eugene Creamer (Darly) of Warner Robins; seven grandchildren, Micah Creamer, McKenzie Creamer, Candice Reynolds (Christopher), Chasady Hale (Gunner), Cruz Carter, Jasmine Creamer and Kaden Creamer; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Clarine Cannon, Louise Sellers and Lucille Flowers; brothers, George Creamer and Herman Creamer; several nieces and nephews also survived.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 11:00am at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. John Nunes officiating.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Hazlehurst Church of God, visitation will begin at 11:00am and his Home going service will begin at 1:00pm with Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. Nathan Grier officiating.
