Bobby Lee Rainey Herrington, age 19, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, August 06, 2021.
Bobby was born in Appling County but had lived most of his life in Jeff Davis.

He was a 2020 graduate of Jeff Davis County High School, loved fishing, loved his church and church family, playing the guitar and watching wrestling. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and he never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his parents, Danielle Shree and David Herrington of Hazlehurst; sister, Whitney Shree Herrington of Hazlehurst; maternal grandmother, Daisy Meek of Roberta; paternal grandmother, Margaret Hernandez of Hazlehurst; Nana & PaPa, Lynn and Pearl Smith; uncles, Bobby Smith of Hazlehurst, Darrell Meek of Hazlehurst, John Meek of Roberta and Harry Herrington of Baxley; aunts, Alberta Perkey of Hazlehurst, Harriett Gonzales of Baxley; special cousin, Austin Meek of Roberta; girlfriend, Nita Cordero of Mettter.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 10:00am and service will follow at 11:00 with Rev. Terry Davis, Rev. Joseph Davis and Rev. Josh Ogletree officiating. Interment will follow in the Appling Memorial Garden in Baxley.
The 2020 graduating class of Jeff Davis County High School will serve as honorary pallbearers

Active pallbearers will be Bobby Smith, Josh Ogletree Sr., Keith Lott, Josh Ogletree Jr., Zach Reese and Harry Herrington.
