Mr. Carey E. McEachin, age 61, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. McEachin was born February 01, 1955 in Wayne County to the late Charles McEachin and the late Ora Mae Warnock McEachin. He was the Operator of Altamaha Convenient Store and of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by a Sister, Sandra Cravey and a Brother, Don Carroll McEachin. Survivors include his wife, Patsy McEachin of Hazlehurst; Step-Son, Chris McEachin of Hazlehurst; Sister, Joan McEachin of Brunswick; Six Step-Grandchildren, Penny McEachin, Ryley McEachin, Isacc McEachin, Declan McEachin, Hunter Griffin and Jodie Griffin; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 02, 2016 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 02, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the McEachin-McCormick Cemetery. The family can be reached at the residence, 835 Towns Bluff Road, Hazlehurst.
