Catherine Ann Creamer, age 70, of Hazlehurst passed away peacefully at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Creamer loved the GA Bulldogs and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph B. Simpson and Dorothy Pearl Towns Simpson, husband, James (Brother) Creamer, brothers, Jimmy Akins, and James Simpson, and sister, Mary Owens.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ashberry (Melissa), daughters, Terry Snelgrove, Sandra Stafford (Robert), sisters, Brenda Brown, two brothers, Donald Simpson and Steve Akins;  grandchildren, Keith Ashberry, James McGowan, Tony Hernandez, Austin Stafford, Bobbie McQuaig, Dakota Stafford, John Taylor, David Sorrow, Brittney Taylor, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Creamer will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Chapel beginning at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour. Burial will follow at Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Rev. Ronald Leggit will officiate.

All friends and family will serve as Honorary pallbearers.

Daniel McGuire, Chris Barnard, Gary Owens, James McGowan, Kieth Ashberry, Dakota Stafford and Randy McCollum will serve as pall bearers.
