Mr. Cecil Conner, age 75, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, November 08, 2018 at Tattnall Healthcare Center in Reidsville. Mr. Conner was born September 23, 1943 in Appling County to the late Anderson Conner and the late Idell Johnson Conner. He was retired from Williams Brothers Trucking and is preceded in death by his sister, Jean McNeal. Survivors include his wife, Mary Conner of Hazlehurst; daughter, Connie Conner Smith of Lakeland; step-daughter, Cindy Yearta of Glennville; son, Kevin Conner of Hazlehurst; step-sons, Aver Strickland of Glenville, Greg Strickland of Glennville and Stanley Strickland of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Shena Smith and Ashleigh Conner; nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Cecil Conner, age 75, of Hazlehurst.
