Hazlehurst
Mr. Chad S. Hayslip, age 51, of Hazlehurst GA, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Tattnall Healthcare Center in Reidsville under the care of Coastal Hospice.
He was born on June 3, 1975, at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky to the late James Earl Hayslip, Jr. and Carolyn Evans Sorber. He was a resident of Hazlehurst and previously worked as a welder with Spartan Cargo Trailers, LLC in Alma. His faith in Jesus Christ was very important to Chad and one of his final wishes was to be baptized, which was fulfilled before his passing. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games and visits from his nephew, Jeffrey O'Conner. Over time, Chad became a gentle giant and a hard worker who loved life. More importantly, he loved his children and wanted the best for them.
In addition to his parents, Chad is preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel James Hayslip, and James Earl Hayslip, III; and his sister, Tina Hayslip O’Conner.
Chad is survived by three daughters, Brianna Hayslip of Flint, MI, Katlynn Hayslip of Redford, MI, and Kara-Lyn Hayslip of Savannah; his stepmom, Rebecca A. Hayslip of Big Rock, TN; his sister, Amanda R. Hayslip of Nashville, TN; his sister in law, Vanetta Hayslip; his best friend, Jamie Moates; and several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In keeping with Chad’s wishes, he will be cremated.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home and the Hayslip family are in charge of arrangements.
