Mrs. Charlene Juanee Rentz, age 79, passed away Friday, February 20, 2021 following an extended illness.
Mrs. Rentz was born September 21, 1941 in Hazlehurst, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her Husband, Rex Rentz, her parents, Fred Hutchinson & Eva Lucille Wilcox Hutchinson, a sister, Rudeen Allen and a brother, Cosby Herrington. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church; she was a pianist since the early 70s and worked as a bookkeeper for many years for Cothern- Varnadore and Woody Folsom Chevrolet. She was very dedicated to her profession and was well respected by her peers. She was always willing to help those in need and push others to achieve more.
She is survived by her two sons Randy & Carmen Rentz of Hazlehurst, Van & Kim Rentz of Springfield, TN, her daughter, Marla & Willie Turner of Jax, FL, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren, her sisters, Gwen & Thomas Kirkland, Theresa Elkins, her brothers, Tyrone & Karen Hutchinson, Stanley & Marci Hutchinson, Keith & Patti Hutchinson.
Gravesides service will be held at 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Baxley, Georgia.
