Mr. Charles Edward Walker, age 72, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, January 16, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Walker was born October 28, 1947 in Nashville Ga. to the late Samuel J. Walker and the late Velora Rowan Walker.

He was a retired salesman with Coffee Chrysler and was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nelda L. Walker, brothers, Ronald Walker and Jack Walker.

Survivors include his two daughters, Denise Brookins of Hazlehurst and Cherise Walker of Hazlehurst; sister, Carolyn Giddens of Nashville; two grandchildren, Samuel Ray and Christopher Ray; five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 12:00 and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Thomas Colter.
