Mr. Clark Montford, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Montford was born March 03, 1944 in Wheeler County to the late Theodore Montford and the late Clara Clark Montford. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Viet-Nam Conflict and retired from Bell South. Survivors include his wife Mary Sue Cato Montford of Hazlehurst; daughters; Christina Montford of Fort Lauderdale, Stephanie Salpietro (Sal) of Ft. Lauderdale and Bonita Blewer (Tony) of Baxley; three grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Chase Sutton and Giuseppe Salpietro; three great-grandchildren, Anyston Jones, Zayne and Zander Jones; sisters, Gail Meadows (Harris) of Uvalda and Sarah Durden (Bruce) of Lyons; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Dewitt Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. The Family may be contacted at the residence, 56 Elton Street, Hazlehurst.
