Ms. Claudine Googe Stone, age 85 of Snellville, formerly of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, January 14, 2020 in Mesun Hospice  in Lawrenceville.

Mrs. Stone was born January 29, 1936 in Jeff Davis County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Leonard Googe and Velma Loraine Warnock, daughter, Rhonda Stone and sister, Carmen McCoy.  She was formerly employed with the Center of Disease Control and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her son Randy Stone (Carol) of Savannah; brother, Billy Clifton of Snellville; sister, Carolyn Osborne (Jack) of North Carolina.

Funeral graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00am in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
