Mr. Clifford Lairsey, age 79, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Lairsey was born July 08, 1937 in Jeff Davis County to the late Jessie Clifford Lairsey Sr. and the late Beatrice Evans Lairsey. He was retired form Hazlehurst Mills and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his sister, Pearl Evans. Survivors include his wife, Martha Anderson Lairsey of Hazlehurst, two sons, Jerry Lairsey and Bobby and Tammy Lairsey of Hazlehurst; sister, Myrtice Boatright of Hazlehurst; five grandchildren, Jeromy Lairsey, Jason Larisey, Troy Larisey, Jace Larisey, Kimberly and Brandon Phillips; one great-granddaughter, Aviana Lairsey; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral service to follow at 2:00pm with Minister Allen Wright and Minister Bobby Lairsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family can be reached at the residence, 62 Harrison Farm Road, Hazlehurst.
