Mrs. Cora Bell Kight Wooten, age 88, of Snipesville, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 in Jeff Davis Hospital under the care of Southern Care Hospice. Mrs. Wooten was born June 17, 1925 in Coffee County to the late John Edward Kight and the late Minnie Harper Kight. She was the widow of the late Clyde Wooten, a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Bryant Wooten and Grandson, Jason Wooten. Survivors include Two Daughters, Judy Robinson of Hazlehurst and Teresa Faulk of Snipesville; son, Murrell Wooten of Snipesville; Four Sisters, Elva Spivey of Douglas, Betty Starling of Eatonton, Marie McKinley of Dublin and Lurlyne Young of Fitzgerald; 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00-9:00PM at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. William Pope, Rev. Kenyon Fennell and Mr. Domnic Laricca officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Wooten will lie in state one hour prior to service time. The family can be contacted at the residence, 219 W.H. Smith Road, Denton. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Cora Bell Kight Wooten, age 88 of Snipesville.
