Dani Lynn Sears, age 8 months, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Wolfson's Children Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. Dani Lynn was born March 02, 2015 in Irwin County but had resided all her life in Jeff Davis County with her parents. She was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather, Gordon Long and Paternal Grandfather, Robert E. Sears Sr. Survivors include her Parents, Bobby and Amy Sears of Hazlehurst; Sister, Hayley Sears of Douglas; Two Brothers, Dalton Sears of Hazlehurst and Trey Sears of Valdosta; Maternal Grandmother, Betty Long of Wray, Ga.; Paternal Grandmother, Saralyn Sears of Hazlehurst; Maternal Great-Grandmother, Elsie Taylor of Wray, Ga.; Two Aunts and Uncles, Kim (Bryan) Moore of Douglas and Ashley (John) Morris of Hazlehurst; Best Friend, Kree Moore; Several cousins also survive. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 01, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 02, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Clough officiating. Interment will follow in the Sears-Morris Family Cemetery. Dani Lynn will be placed in church to lie in state one hour prior to Funeral Services. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Dani Lynn Sears, age 8 months, of Hazlehurst.
