Darlene Luke Watkins, age 60, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, May 02, 2015 in Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. Mrs. Watkins was born December 18, 1954 in Jacksonville, FL. to the late Marcus W. Luke and the late Clara Yelvington Luke. She was retired from Walmart and member of Oakland Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Watkins of Hazlehurst; Children, Heather (Chuck) Hunter, James (Amanda) Stankowitz III, J. Britt (Andrea) Stankowitz, James Watkins and Erik (Miranda) Watkins; Siblings, Corene Luke (Lloyd) Jones and Jeffery (Mary) Luke; Grandchildren, Kayla Hunter, Cash Cox, Chris Hunter, Colt Wilcox, Sydney and Chase Stankowitz, Darton and Sterling Stankowitz; Mother-in-law, Lorene Watkins and many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 06, 2015 at 2:00pm at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett and Rev. Sam Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Family may be contacted at the residence of Jimmy Watkins, 109 Ginger Farm Road, Hazlehurst. Mrs. Watkins will lie in state one hour prior to service. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Darlene Luke Watkins, age 60, of Hazlehurst.
