Darrell Jerome (Pebo) Carter, age 64, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, August 03, 2017 at Appling Health Care System in Baxley. Mr. Carter was born July 20, 1953 in Jeff Davis County to the late Farrell Carter Sr. and the late Ruby Murray Carter. He was retired from Amercord and a member of Altamaha Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Priscilla Hall (Frankie) of Hazlehurst and Desiree Carter of Church Rd. Virginia; son, Jeremy Carter (Torie) of Hazlehurst; six sisters, Avey Collins, Winifred Hamm, Marilyn Landon, Betty Sue Turner, Shirlene Wooten and Angela Eileen Bullard all of Hazlehurst; brother, Farrell Carter, Jr. of Hazlehurst; four grandchildren, Victoria Hall, Faith Hall, Rhaelynn Carter and Jase Carter; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 05, 2017, visitation will start at 2:00pm and funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Carter Family Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Darrell Jerome (Pebo) Carter, age 64, of Hazlehurst.
