Mr. David Floyd, age 52, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Floyd was born July 13, 1962 in Jeff Davis County to the late Devoy Floyd and the late Katie Mae Hall Floyd. He was employed with S. & J. Trucking and member of Southside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law, W.L. and Verna Lee Murray. Survivors include his Wife, Donna Lee Floyd of Hazlehurst; Three Daughters, Misty Romeo of Warner Robins, Frances Floyd and Brittany Floyd both of Hazlehurst; One Son, David Floyd of North Carolina; Six Sisters, Allene and Al Killi of Hazlehurst, Patricia and Cecil Griffin of Hazlehurst, Judy and George Hayes of Hazlehurst, Lisa Floyd of Hazlehurst, Nette and Danny McLean and Linda and L.M. Wilkes both of McRae-Helena; Nine Brothers, Aubrey and Virginia Floyd of Hazlehurst, Roger and Alisa Floyd of Fredericksburg, VA, Donald and Doris Floyd of Hazlehurst, Eddie Joe Sr. and Cathy Floyd of Hazlehurst, Louis and Gayle Murray of Roberta, Steve and Betty Murray of Scotland, Ken and Leslie Murray of Smith Station, AL, Dewayne and Amy Murray of Byron and Mark Sr. and Jennifer Murray of Eastman; Grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Martin, Trystyn Lightsey and Christopher Roberson; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 07, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 08, 2015 at 3 PM at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Danny Stokes and Thomas Murray officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. David Floyd, age 52, of Hazlehurst.
