David Wayne Bohannon, age 55, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Bohannon was born May 14, 1960 in Jeff Davis County to the late Elton Bohannon and the late Josephine Jackson Bohannon. He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Elbethel Church. Survivors include his Daughter and Son-in-Law, Chelsea and Mitch Harrelson; Son, Brodie Bohannon; Sister, Patricia Thompson; Brother, Tommy Bohannon; Two Grandchildren, Nicholas Harrelson and Zoee Beth Harrelson; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Thompson and Rev. Brett Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Zoar Cemetery in Appling County. The Family may be contacted at the residence, 139 Educational Drive, Hazlehurst.
