Dennis E. Cain, age 60, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, April 21, 2014 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia. Mr. Cain was born December 23, 1953 in Jeff Davis County. He was the owner of Dennis Cain Insurance Company and a member of the First United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Teacher. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Buck Cain. Survivors include his wife Vanny Mam Cain of Hazlehurst; Son and Daughter-in-law, Michael and Paula Carr Cain of Statesboro; Mother, Betty Cain of Hazlehurst; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Susan and Dwayne Creamer of Hazlehurst; Brother and Sister-in-Law, Tim and Janellda Cain of Hazlehurst; Four nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00am in the First United Methodist Church with Mr. Jeffery Spell, Rev. Kevin Sanders and Rev. J. Barry Owens officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. The family can be contacted at the residence of Mrs. Betty Cain, 99 Oak Ridge Road, Hazlehurst.
