Dewitt Allagood, age 69, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, May 09, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Allagood was born January 23, 1946 in Appling County to the late Hubert Hamilton Allagood and the late Fannie Hipps Allagood. He was the Owner and Operator of Allagood Trucking. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert Allagood, David Allagood and William Allagood. Survivors include his wife, Clara Mae Toler Allagood; Daughters and Son-in-Law, Lisa Allagood and Buddy Bohannon and Rebecca Lynn (Becky) Allagood; Son Ricky Dewitt Allagood; Sisters, Florence Rowland and Brenda Nellis; Five Grandchildren, Kelly Allagood, Christopher Hughes, Rikki Allagood, Sarah Allagood, Coleman Bohannon, Seven Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Toler and Rev. James Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence, 11251 Zoar Road, Hazlehurst.
