Diane Walker Day, age 76, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, September 26, 2016, at Lumber City Nursing Home. Diane was born August 29, 1940 in Jeff Davis County to the late James Henry Walker and the late Ila Mae Powell Walker. She was a Great Child Care Provider and member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her Daughter and Son-in-Law, Sherri and Bryan Goff of Hazlehurst; Granddaughter, Parker Goff of Hazlehurst; Sister, Doris Sears of Cave Springs; Nephew, Gary Sears of Cave Springs; extended Family, Stacy and Dawn Bridges of Hazlehurst and Drew and Dylan Bridges; several cousins also survived. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev Brad Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden.
