Mrs. Oveda Dianne Rowland, age 60, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Mrs. Rowland was born February 24, 1961 in Jeff Davis County; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Daniel Davis and Avy Dolores Shumans Davis and a grandson, Zachary Douglas. She was a member of Hazlehurst Church of God and was the former Floor Manager of Davis Fresh Foods. She was also a longtime employee of Piggly Wiggly.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Ronald Rowland, 3 daughters, Jessica (Nathan) Piper, Becky Lynn (Andy Mitchell) Hall, Helen (Herman) Sellers, two sons, Christopher Rowland and Ron Rowland all of Hazlehurst, two brothers, Wadis (Denise) Davis and Dewayne (Candace) Davis all of Hazlehurst, three grandchildren, Shaila Ellis, Bowen Dixon and Donovan (Hannah Entzminger) Douglas, three great-grandchildren, Bailey Ellis, Jackie Dixon and Blair Dixon, mother-in-law, Jenelle Washam, sister-in-law, Gwen (Wayne) Buford and a brother-in-law, Jerry (Ann) Rowland.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Hazlehurst Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Yawn officiating.
