Mr. Donald Wayne Alday, age 72, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Alday was born May 29, 1946 in Donaldsonville Georgia. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, retired heavy equipment operator with Jeff Davis County and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Gordon Pete Alday. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bentley Alday of Hazlehurst; two daughters and son-in-Law, Danielle and John Lee of Hazlehurst and PJ and Thomas Stidd of Lincolnton; mother, Lois Ridlehover Alday of Chiefland FL; son, Donny Alday of Hazlehurst; sister, Carolyn Hudson of Chiefland, FL; grandchildren, Zachary Alday, Caleb Lee, Jordan Lee, and Heather Thomas, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Ben Glosson officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Donald Wayne Alday, age 72, of Hazlehurst.
