Donnie Hugh Smith, age 65, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born November 20, 1955 in Mt Vernon Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Melton Smith and Eula Mae Wood Smith, two sisters, Laverne Horton and Ruby Nell Reagin. He was employed with Dane Ursery Logging and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include three sons, Shawn Trowell of Hazlehurst, Hugh Don Smith (Christine) of Denton and Jason Beasley of Cedar Crossing; two daughters, Donna Kay Smith Morrison (Timer) of Hand Town and Danielle Davis (Chris) of Millwood; eleven grandchildren, Anthony, Kayleigh, Aaliyah, John John, Donny, Sammy, Alysha, Trevor, Navada, Bailee and Kyra; and significant other, Jeannie Sikes of Hazlehurst.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00pm at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. Van McCall officiating.
