Mrs. Edna Ussery Jones, age 77, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, January 09, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mrs. Jones was born November 30, 1941 in Telfair County to the late William Ussery and the late Mamie Jewell Ussery. She was retired Seamstress with Hazlehurst Manufacturing and member of Lumber City Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Dewey Jones. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-laws, Gary (Rhonda) Jones of Hazlehurst, Darrell (Ginger) Jones of Helena and Mike (Janet) Jones of McRae; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Gary Jones and Rev. Bradley Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City. The family may be contacted at the residence, 74 Wilson Street Apt C4, Hazlehurst.
