Edna Earl Hand Leigh, age 65, of Baxley, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. Mrs. Leigh was born October 18, 1949 in Coffee County to the late Elias Monroe Hand and the late Leaty Mae Cato Hand. She was a retired Seamstress from Hazlehurst Manufacturing, and a member of Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her sister Deborah Jean Sanders. Survivors include her Husband, Richard Leigh of Baxley; Two Daughters, Brenda Williams of Hazlehurst, and Mallissa Sanders of Baxley; One Sister, Linda Jane Rammage of Hazlehurst; One Brother, George Hand of Hazlehurst; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2 PM at Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Prentice Herndon, Rev. Kevin Sanders, and the Rev. Nathan Smith. Interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Edna Earl Hand Leigh, age 65, of Baxley.
