Ellis Gene Brewer, age 76, of Jacksonville, FL. died July 9, 2014. Mr. Brewer was born March 5, 1938, and was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville FL. He was retired from Naval Air Station and Redston Aresnal with 34 years of service and served in the Vietnam Conflict with the United States Air-Force. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Teresa Rogers Brewer of Jacksonville, FL. (formerly of Hazlehurst); Brother, Barney H. Brewer of Middleburg FL.; Niece, Kathy Bennett of Jacksonville FL.; Great Niece and Nephew, Amanda and Austin Bennett of Jacksonville, FL. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Ellis Gene Brewer, age 76, of Jacksonville FL.
