Obituary

Ms. Emma Kea Wright, age 81, died Wednesday, May 05, 2021 at Coffee Regional Hospital in Douglas.

Ms. Wright was born July 31, 1939 in Coffee County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyman Abbott Kea and Vinnie Lee Herrin Kea, son, Richard Wayne Kea (Ricky), brothers, Richard Lee Kea (Bill) and Melvin Kea.  Ms. Wright was a homemaker, a hard worker, great cook and will sadly be missed by everyone that knew her. She attended Macedonia Church of God.

Survivors include her three daughters, Diedra Creech (Danny) of Denton, Wendy Andrews (George) of Denton and Carol Seitz (Rickey) of Denton;


Grandchildren, Bradley James Creech, Cody Taylor, Brett Taylor, Wendel Martinez, Kealon Martinez, Dylan Calhoun, Emily Calhoun  and Coltin Seitz; nine great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 08, 2021 at 2:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Casey Wright officiating. Interment followed in the Denton Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were Sally Rollins, Bobby Wise, Eleanor & Clarence Wright, Sharon and Ethridge Wright, Judy Taylor, Lettie Wildes, Telisa Wildes, Jean Creech, Euree Taylor, Michele Polanco, Joyce Merritt, and Barbara McBroom.

Active pallbearers were grandsons,  Bradley James Creech, Cody Taylor, Brett Taylor, Wendel Martinez, Kealon Martinez, son-in-laws, Rickey Seitz, George Andrews, alt, Wiley Perkey.
