Esther Gail Herndon Blair, age 59, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Blair was born November 11, 1957 in Jeff Davis County to the late Vernon Herndon and the late Lorene Walker Herndon. She was employed by Precision Products and was a member of Hazlehurst Pentecostal. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Bryce Manning and sister, Darlene Cleghorn. Survivors include her daughter, Carla Blair of Hazlehurst; son, Trent Blair of Lumber City; three sisters, Diane Montford of Vidalia, Pat Lee of Lumber City and Denise Durden of Hazlehurst; three brothers, Richard Herndon of Hazlehurst, Aubrey Herndon of Lumber City and Jap Herndon of Lumber City; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 02, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City. Family may be contacted at the residence of Carla Blair, 29 Old Alma Road, Hazlehurst.
