Mrs. Evelyn Bryant Lewis, age 86, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, March 04, 2017 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas. Mrs. Lewis was born August 31, 1930 in Jeff Davis County to the late Edward lee Bryant and the late Lula Bell Hand Bryant. She retired from the Jeff Davis Elementary School Lunchroom and was a member of Bridgeford Church of God where she taught Sunday School for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lewis and daughter, Wanda Gail Lewis. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sandy Lewis of Longview, TX; a grandson, Terry Lewis, Jr. of Kilgore, TX; sister, Ruth Jones of Savannah, and brother, Everett "Bud
