Evelyn was born in Broxton, GA to Reason & Agnes Rowell on June 7.1930. She had to quit school in the 6th grade to help raise her brothers and sisters, and to help on the family farm. . She married Johnny L Miller on March 16, 1946 in Douglas, GA. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Tony's Forest Hill Pharmacy for over 25 years. She enjoyed talking about faith in God, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to tell stories of days and times gone by; she also loved to play Bingo, go bowling and go fishing. Evelyn loved everyone and enjoyed helping in any way that she could. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Go rest high on that mountain Mom.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Johnny of 57 years, son Jimmy Miller and daughter Shirley Miller

Evelyn is survived by sons George Miller and Herman (Sarah) Miller, daughter Pearl (Clyde) Brown and many grandchildren, great grand and great-great grandchildren

Services for Mrs. Miller will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 in the chapel of Wainright Parlor Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery near Snipesville.
