Mrs. Annie Evelyn Anderson White, age 97, of Snipesville, died Sunday November 10, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. White was born July 23, 1916 in Laurens County to the late Joseph Theadore Lamb and the late Annie Liza Conner Lamb. She was retired from Jeff Davis Board of Education and a member of the Macedonia Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Walter Anderson and E.W. (Bo) White, Three Sons, Aubrey, Roger and Paul Anderson, Granddaughter, Melaine Newman Simmons. Survivors include Two Daughters and Son-In-Law, Carolyn (John) Newman of Snipesville and Betty Jean Anderson of Snipesville; Son and Daughter-In-Law, Allen (Jean) Anderson of Snipesville; Eight Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00am at Macedonia Church of God with Rev. Robert Varnadore, Rev. Alvin Merritt, Rev. Van McCall and Rev. Jack Dorminey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. White will lie in state 1 hour prior to service. Family may be contacted at the residence, 831 Hwy 107, Snipesville.
