Mrs. Fay Johnson Clifton, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mrs. Clifton was born May 14, 1945 in Jeff Davis County to the late Lonnie Johnson and the late Lettie White Johnson. She was a retired Secretary with Cary Johnson Insurance and attended Southside Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her brother, Morris Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Doy Clifton of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Mandy Clifton of Hazlehurst; step-sons, Billy(Teresa) Clifton of Alamo and Brian Clifton of Uvalda; sister, Bonnie Moody (Johnny) of Hazlehurst; brother, Y.T.(Jo) Johnson of Tennessee; grandchildren, Kirk Clifton, J.T. Clifton, Lily Clifton and Michael Clifton; great-grandchild, Shelby Clifton; nieces and nephews also survived. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to your favorite charity. Family will receive friends at the residence, 43 Wildlife Drive, Hazlehurst, on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.
